Under the Red Sea
Sharm el Sheikh is about the water. Si dived the Straits of Tiran, we snorkelled at Ras Mohammed, and in between there was a desert buggy race that started like Silverstone and ended in a fail.
A day in Luxor
We flew up to Luxor for the day for Karnak, Luxor Temple and the Valley of the Kings, a boat on the Nile and a walk through a banana plantation by the river. It is a long, hot day from Sharm, and the one part of the trip we would not change.
Where Towel Wars began
Back at our DoubleTree by Hilton in Sharm, we started tipping the cleaner and towel animals started appearing on the bed. Seven days later there was a towel man in sunglasses watching television, a reel on its way past two million views and, as it turned out, a series.
